Furnace Belt Lifetime Improvement

Furnace belts can fail due to oxidation, stretching, and carbon up-take. Minimox solution-coated and oxidized sections of 330-stainless furnace belt exhibit a protective barrier coating relative to uncoated sections. Material Interface is seeking a facility to test the Minimox coating on belt sections. All coatings will be furnished at no charge.

Spray coating the furnace belt with Minimox solution one time/day reduced oxidation mass gain of a 330 furnace belt by 60% at 850°C in air as shown in the graph below.
